This standard-weight (120-gram) double-LP of Young's '92 masterpiece is what it is: a vinyl LP mastered from the CD-quality 44/16 digital. It cannot compare to the earlier releases in Young's catalog, which were recorded to tape. It isn't terrible, it's just a bit disappointing. My mid-ninties CD and this LP sound about the same, which isn't surprising. The pressing quality, however, is superb, with quiet vinyl and no surface noise.
