Great sound on these records. All of these performances are great and the presentation is superb. It is a pleasure to have this whole set on clean, quiet LP's. The mastering is better than the double-disc cd version from a few years back. That coupled with analogue warmth makes this album an easy winner. Lots of anticipation for this one and I am not disappointed.

A little noisey but considering the age, time, place, and reson for this recording I find it in acceptable limits. That said, OMG! does the bass guitar sounds like what a bass should sound like! This recording is well worth the money just for that! Overall a very nice job.

If you're a fan you need this record. Wonderful sound from a simple recording. The remastering is excellent except now you can hear some minor problems in the original recording. But forget all that and sit back and hear why Julie sold so many copies of "Cry Me A River".

After 'warm-up' time, just place the stylus tip on the black target, hold your breath (yes it is that sensitive !) and in a couple of seconds you have the reading. It removes the guess work out of the stylus force. With higher precision audio equipment, accuracy is a must - and this device is ideal for the occasional user.

The sound quality of the concert is excellent. The surround mix is a little scarce in the rear speakers and really only comes out strong during a drum solo. My main question is why only 75 minutes? Dweezil himself states that he grafted this DVDA from each of the four different shows. Zappa's concerts here are well known to be 3+ hrs. This DVDA easily could have contained at least another 1-2hours to give the listener a better feel for the actual concert. Despite the few shortcomings this disc does show that Zappa's band was head and shoulders above the rest. They are so tight and yet able to pull off anything in the most relaxed fashion. It is definitely worth a spot in any Zappa audiophile collection. Hopefully there will be more from the Zappa family trust in the area of DVDA. Buy this as well as the other FZ DVDA Quadrilliac which has songs that FZ actually recorded in the 70s in Quadrophonic sound. Enjoy!!!

I'm on a jazz kick right now and I have so many beautiful jazz recordings I worried this might go to the back of the line until I came back around to the blues, but I have to say this blew me away from the first note. Captivating from start to finish. So quiet you could hear a pin drop. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I've never heard Muddy Waters sound like this. Incredibly dynamic vocals. Beautiful guitar work. Highly recommended.
