BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT ROLLERBLOCKS! Click Here to read more.
Rollerblock Jr. consists of of 8 tops and bottoms and 4 center bearings, to make 4 "Double Stacked" isolator/coupler units. Each top and bottom is constructed of black anodized, aircraft alloy aluminum, and has a 1.875" diameter (4.76 cm) and 5/8" (1.58 cm) thickness. These dimensions were carefully chosen to make Rollerblock Jr. easy to use and set up, yet strong enough to withstand the rigors of use under heavier equipment such as large amplifiers and heavy loudspeakers. The special cup interior has been designed so that the top and bottom "sandwich" is stable with the ball inserted in the center, making for easy setup. The bottom and top are flat and suitable for all equipment chassis, as well as flat surfaces and carpeting.
"I have during the last year started using Rollerblock Jr. under all of my components except the speakers with very good results. I therefore ordered some more to try under my Watt/Puppy 7 speakers, put a set of three under the Puppy and the result was stunning, more and precise bass – much more in fact – the mid range became so much more natural and bigger, the whole soundtage became much bigger, and I mean BIGGER! The upper range is now as natural as you can expect, this is by far the biggest upgrade I have done for years!" – Tor Jan Nilsen
"…Because the Rollerblocks do such a good job of cleaning up leading edge dynamics and removing edge and overshoot that these artifacts that made the system sound edgy and exciting (as well as loud) are banished…The end result is that the system can be played louder and with less fatigue…it's so much easier to hear into the music. Adding the Rollerblocks to the equation seems to extend the bass rather than simply adding weight, bringing greater texture and clarity to lower register instruments." – Roy Gregory, Hi-Fi+, Issue 45
"The Symposium platforms and Roller Block couplers work in much the same way as the Vertex and Stillpoints supports, but with one interesting wrinkle: they are particularly effective and simple to use under speakers…Once you get used to the fact that even the largest, heaviest speakers can move alarmingly freely in the horizontal plane, you realize that they're actually extremely stable. They also go deeper, are cleaner and far more agile in the bass – so much so that you'll likely need to pull them an inch or so forward from their customary position. The bass improvements simply open out the mid-band, bringing the music vividly to life, making the Symposiums a sonic as well as a practical success." – Roy Gregory, Hi-Fi+, Issue 48
