Excellent Pressing

5 Stars
Posted Wednesday, October 7, 2026 by Mike Don't hesitate and purchase this pressing version before this one sells out like the other versions! This is a excellent Pressing and for this price it's a steal! No background noise and very detailed and wide sound stage as well. This can easily cost as twice as much, as excellent as it sounds through my Focal Kanta 2 speakers.

Great SACD

5 Stars
Posted Tuesday, October 6, 2026 by PJG I ordered this SACD directly from Japan when it was released. Johnny Hartman is my favorite crooner, beating Sinatra by a mile! Sonically this is a very good album. It was recorded by the (great) Rudy Van Gelder. The only quibble that I have is the left / center / right Musical tones and timber are well represented. soundstage

Excellent in every way

5 Stars
Posted Tuesday, October 6, 2026 by Anonymous First, I really appreciate George Benson- have several albums from him. This one is spectacular: pressing is flawless/v heavy flat as pancake, no jacket issues- can’t be happier tbh! The dynamic range of this is incredible! You can turn it up and it will not bite! Highly recommended! Might need to get another copy (for $28 it’s more than a great deal).

Incredible sound and CD-like noise floor

5 Stars
Posted Saturday, September 19, 2026 by Marc This is simply one of the best-sounding albums in my collection. I wish every lp could be this quiet. Most all QRP releases are quiet but the noise floor on this one is so low it might as well not exist.

Wes Montgomery - Full House

Product No: AAPJ 214-45

Category: 45 RPM Vinyl Record
Label: Analogue Productions

Best version I've heard of this live performance

5 Stars
Posted Friday, September 18, 2026 by Sal I first heard this record as a CD in the late 90s. Loved it, but it sounded midrange-y, dry. I always thought it was just a bad recording. This 45 is wonderful. Clear separation of instruments, especially the double bass, which features prominently compared to the other releases where it sounded jumbled into the mix. The gatefold is nice too, featuring photos by Jim Marshall of Wes,.

Beautiful

5 Stars
Posted Friday, September 11, 2026 by Cliff It is amazing what 3 guitarists, one microphone and a church with excellent acoustics can accomplish sonically. If you like music for the simple joy of the music this is worth your consideration.

Music is 5-star but record is 1-star

2 Stars
Posted Saturday, August 29, 2026 by Anonymous I had high expectation but very disappointed. The singing and backup music are fantastic but the first second I put down the stylus, I heard cracks and pops from the first to the third track on side A, same on side B. It was unbearable so I stopped playing the first disc and put it back into sleeve, not bothering the second disc. I did clean the record twice on Humminguru before playing. I'm overseas so I didn't bother to return it. I wasted 40 bucks.

Better than the OJC version

5 Stars
Posted Friday, August 28, 2026 by Scott N. I bought the OJC 33 1/3 RPM version and am selling it to a friend after replacing it with this one. Amazingly quiet pressing, sonic details are incredibly good. Get it.

Another Home Run

5 Stars
Posted Friday, August 28, 2026 by Scott N. I bought Stan Getz/Luis Bonfa "Jazz Samba" first, which is also amazing and this one is the same. Jim Hall is killing on it too. Get it. Dead quiet, wide, clear, etc audiophile goodness.

Great sound, hit or miss pressing

4 Stars
Posted Friday, July 17, 2026 by Scott N. Sound-wise, absolutely amazing and the best I've heard of this recording since it came out in 1994. BUT, even though it was pressed at RTI, sides 3 and 4 contain lots of distracting clicks that really distract from listening pleasure in the quiet passages especially. Shame.

THIS is the one you want

5 Stars
Posted Thursday, July 16, 2026 by Scott N. I bought this one thru Music Direct, but I am replacing the MoFi mono copy with this one. The first listen absolutely blew me away! Dead quiet vinyl, outstanding stereo width and depth, and superior clarity. This classic release is a must for any Miles fan and the performances and audio quality here are unbeatable. HIGHLY recommend.

Still one of the best demo records ever made. Rivaling even the best in digital

5 Stars
Posted Wednesday, July 8, 2026 by Wised Be warned, the first copy I ordered was very cupped, I damaged it flattening it so I ordered a second which was perfect. The sound quality of this pressing is extraordinary even by today's best digital standards. How they achieved such almost imperceptible tape hiss in 1862 without noise reduction borders the miraculous. The dynamic range, transients, fidelity and clarity are by all measures of digital quality. To boot the music is excellent and cool!
