The best of music on the planet

5 Stars
Posted Saturday, March 14, 2026 by Anthony Nguyen Wow, simply magnificent ! This is the finest product I have consistently enjoyed over the past several decades. The packaging features a high-quality cardboard sleeve, the discs bear laser-etched labels, and the sound is incredibly vivid and true-to-life. This is, without a doubt, the best disc set currently available on the market. I highly recommend that fellow music enthusiasts invest in a set to truly savor the richness of analog audio. You will not be disappointed by the substantial cost, as I believe this collection is built to last and will provide years of listening pleasure. I give a 5-star rating to this superb product from Audio Nautes and a special thank you to Fabio Camorani.

Amazing quality of music

5 Stars
Posted Saturday, February 28, 2026 by Anthony Nguyen I was incredibly excited to experience for the first time with the exceptional and valuable album collection produced by AudioNautes Recordings. I had previously listened to this collection on vinyl records before, but this time, I heard it on reel-to-reel tape via my Otari MTR-15 and Studer A807 players machines. The sound was incredibly vibrant and fantastic. I felt like I was sitting in the big music performance stage at the pawnshop over 50 years ago, when the musicians played those famous songs in the pawnshop in 1976. This is a very famous Jazz album that I've always loved, and it's a treasure displayed in my studio music room. The packaging, the images, and the product itself are exceptional and valuable. You haven't truly experienced analog sound until you've listened to this album collection. I recommend that Jazz lovers should buy this album collection before it sold out.

One of the best

Posted Friday, December 16, 2022 by Stephen DeWolfe I had this on vinyl years ago, loved it. I have now acquired a 1/2 track Studer A807. I felt that I would take the plunge and try this tape. This tape is so much better than I remember. The dynamics are outstanding, with very clear upper range. I swear I can here a differences in the instruments I never heard on vinyl. It was nice the set back and just get lost in the music and the performance. I feel that it was money well spent.

Don’t Wait until it’s gone

5 Stars
Posted Saturday, April 23, 2022 by Tom Caselli Ballads is the album where Coltrane reins in his “sheets of sound” and plays in a more melodic style. Previously, this was low on my Coltrane list until I heard this tape. While AP’s recent vinyl reissue was stellar, this tape moves it up several levels. If you have seen the movie Vanilla Sky where Coltrane appears as a Hologram at a party, well this is a hologram for your ears. This puts you in the studio. Don’t miss out grab it now.

Bill Evans - Some Other Time: The Lost Session From The Black Forest

Good recording but!

4 Stars
Posted Wednesday, January 19, 2022 by Pearse I enjoyed this recording but I feel it is let down by the piano being heavily shifted to the left channel, that is apart from the last track where Bill Evans really shines with a solo turn with good center imaging and dynamics. Its such a shame when the soundstage is poorly presented, it would have been a 5 for me if Bill Evans piano was centered for this recording.
