Multi-platinum-selling and Grammy-winning artist Beck has announced his first album in seven years. Ride Lonesome, the follow-up to 2019's Grammy-winning Hyperspace, is due out on September 18, 2026 via Capitol.

Beck produced it, and he says, "The musicians from my original touring and recording band that I recorded Sea Change, Morning Phase and Mutations with — Smokey Hormel, Joey Waronker, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., and Jason Falkner — reconvened with me at my favorite studio (Room B at United Studios in Hollywood). We had Nigel Godrich, who worked on Sea Change and Mutations with us mixing all the songs. It had been a decade since we went in the studio and recorded Morning Phase. This time it felt like the playing and the chemistry had evolved and deepened — a sound that's come together over the decades of working together. While we were revisiting a musical and physical place, it also felt like we were finding new sounds and emotional textures along the way."

Harkening back to the rich, atmospheric sounds of Morning Phase and Sea Change, Ride Lonesome marks a compelling return to the intimate, cinematic style that defines some of his most celebrated work. The Definitive Sound Series (DSS) meticulous One-Step process creates the definitive sounding audiophile version of albums on 180-gram vinyl. Ride Lonesome was mastered from  96kHz/24bit high resolution original vinyl files. This DSS version is limited to a pressing of 1,000 numbered copies, includes a top-quality heavyweight tip-on single pocket gatefold jacket and is housed inside a uniquely designed slipcase.

One-Step vinyl is the ultimate vinyl pressing, meaning the vinyl is pressed from the stamper made directly from the lacquer, minimizing noises and loss of details.

The album includes the title track, which came out in April, and Beck has shared a second single, "In The Night."
