Pierpaolo Guerrini is back with "Once and Now," a song that anticipates the new album Friends, the first released in his name, that is full of collaborations of the highest international level and with which the composer and producer — with three nominations for the Grammy Awards — will celebrate over 30 years of a stunning career.

In addition to Guerrini, Friends includes collaborations with Alessandro Martire, Andrea Griminelli, Andrea Bocelli, and Stefano Cocco Cantini

In "Once and Now" Pierpaolo Guerrini's piano embraces that of Stephan Moccio, Canadian pianist, producer and hit-maker composer, the only artist — according to Guerrini — capable of traveling into another dimension with his piano and, therefore , the only one capable of perfectly interpreting the main concepts of the song, which are the passage of time and some moments of life that repeat themselves, as if that time could stop for a moment.

Moccio is among the most compelling musicians in music today, with three Grammy nominations, an Oscar nomination, and an advocate of melody in global pop chart hits.

And so — starting from a look at the large garden that extends outside the glass door of Guerrini's studio in Tuscany, where the piece came to light — the two musicians embark on a journey together into a past that becomes present, intertwining their talents, the notes of their pianos and their friendship.
