The 180-gram vinyl packages have the texture of the original release (designed to resemble a burlap water bag) along with the water sleeve vinyl cover, and includes a lyric sheet insert.

Jackson Browne's self-titled debut album, released in 1972, was a significant and influential album in the singer-songwriter and folk-rock genre. The hit single "Doctor My Eyes," reached No. 8 on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart, and the album itself was certified gold-selling in 1976 and platinum-selling in 1997 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
