Joe Lovano's sublime 2003 album, I'm All For You: Ballad Songbook, found the saxophonist wrapping his ravishing sound around timeless melodies such as, "Stella By Starlight," "I Waited For You," and "Like Someone In Love."

This elegant set also introduced Lovano's marvelous quartet featuring Hank Jones (piano), George Mraz (bass), and Paul Motian (drums). Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal.

Lovely Album posted on 09/19/2022 5 Stars Sounds fantastic. The pressing is flat and dead quiet. I’m glad titles like this are getting a decent treatment from BN.
