Limited edition 180-gram gatefold 2LP set

Mastered by Bernie Grundman; pressed at RTI

Deluxe hand-numbered edition limited to 7,000 copies!

First official posthumous release in agreement with the Roy Hargrove estate!

Extensive booklet includes rare photos and a new essay by acclaimed jazz journalist Ted Panken

In Harmony is the first previously unissued recording of the late trumpet star Roy Hargrove since his passing in 2018. Captured live on January 15, 2006 at Merkin Hall in New York City and November 9th, 2007 at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, with the late piano great Mulgrew Miller, In Harmony is an intimate snapshot of two masters performing without a net at the top of their games.

The limited edition 180-gram 2LP set is being released in cooperation with the Hargrove and Miller Estates and includes an elaborate booklet with rare photos, an essay by acclaimed writer Ted Panken, plus interviews and statements by fellow musicians with deep connections to Hargrove and Miller such as Sonny Rollins, Jon Batiste, Keyon Harrold, Christian McBride, Ambrose Akinmusire, Eddie Henderson, Kenny Barron, and others.

Aida Brandes-Hargrove, President of Roy Hargrove Legacy, said: "Roy's daughter Kamala and I are excited to collaborate with Resonance and to get this great new album out to Roy's many fans." The vinyl edition is mastered by Bernie Grundman and pressed at Record Technology Inc. (RTI).

I purchased the limited Record Store Day release. If you like trumpet and piano, you can not go wrong with this album. Hargrove and Miller are great together. Resonance Records puts out quality.
