Iconic and much sought after self-titled LP by Piry Reis now reissued as a deluxe edition containing an extra unreleased bonus track (spaced out jazz interpretation of "No Risco Do Relâmpago").

After playing for several years with Egberto Gismonti group and other prominent Brazilian acts, Piry decided to record this album which was originally released in 1980 featuring a special guest appearance by Egberto Gismonti.

Self released by the artist with the help of Records We Release.

Brazilian guitarist, singer and songwriter. Piry Reis sings and plays acoustic guitar, with music that mixes songs, bossa and samba with a vaguely psychedelic touch. Toured worldwide with Egberto Gismonti and and Robertinho Silva in the '80s and '90s. His music has been performed by Celia, Charlie Haden and Jan Garbarek.
