It's been 50 years since Steve Miller Band's first two Capitol Records albums were released in 1968, and now Miller and Capitol/Universal Music Enterprises are incredibly excited to release the legendary Steve Miller Band's first nine studio albums on 180-gram vinyl.
Released in 1969, Brave New World was the group's third album. It was the first album following the departure of founding members Boz Scaggs and Jim Peterman. Ben Sidran replaced Peterman on keyboards.
The album contains the song "My Dark Hour" that was the result of Steve Miller and Paul McCartney jamming together. The song contains the guitar riff that would later be made famous as the lead-in riff of "Fly Like An Eagle."
