On April 29, 2016, Zubin Mehta celebrated his 80th birthday in the beautiful Brahms-hall in the Viennese Musikverein. Mrs Lichtenegger, in representation of Heinz Lichtenegger (he was absent in New York), was handing over Zubin Mehta’s birthday present: A limited edition vinyl record and the matching turntable Debut Carbon Esprit SB.
This record is a must-have for music fans of the analog era back on heavyweight double vinyl. Presented with original artwork, this recording has been carefully mastered from the original Decca analog tapes at Abbey Road Studios. It is available with its original gatefold cover as a strictly limited edition exclusively for Pro-Ject Audio Systems (only 2000 copies worldwide).
