Posted Sunday, May 31, 2015 by Sean. A favourite of mine that I was introduced to years ago through alternative FM radio in Sydney.

I have only listened to this on CD before and whilst the vinyl highlights some missing musical passages as they always do, I can't say that is a significant upgrade. It doesn't appear to be firing forward but just floating in front of you which, is disappointing as I really love this album. Maybe my views wil change after a few more spins.

One important song left off

Posted Monday, May 25, 2015 by Dan I hate to rag on something before it even hits the street or I haven't even heard it, but being an "Ultimate" collection of Paul Simon with the best of S&G, probably the most important and historical song was left out, S&G's reunion song "My Little Town".

1982 all over again

Posted Tuesday, March 4, 2008 by Frederic There was a time when M. Jackson amazed the world as a showman, not as a tabloid front-pager, and this disc takes us right back then as if nothing in-between had ever happened. Nice trip down memory lane; you can skip the remixes and new versions of disc 2 but disc 1 is priceless and the sound quality is actually quite good for a recording of the 80's. I was 10 when it came out and I have not forgotten a verse - I can't say the same for many discs of that period...
