For the price you can't go wrong. SQ is very good tho not quite on par with the CR release unless you already own one spending a few hundred for it wouldn't be worth it IMO. It will let me rest my RL/SS hot mix copy.

Not bad for a non-analog reissue

First off, let me say that the Classic Records Pressings are a notch-up on these latest Atlantic Reissues. While the reissues sound pretty nice, there IS a difference in quality Any lover of Zeppelin should pick these up while prices are still reasonable. I'm curious to see how the last 3 Zep LP.s will sound like, and what bonus material they can dig up from those sessions. The music itself is without peer. Even 45 years later.

different but as good

I wouldn't have guessed it was digital. I now have both the original and this reissue. Whilst they are different, this is not inferior. Would have been happy with just the reissue.

WITH MY 60 YEARS OLD, EARS AND LOTS OF LISTENING EXPERIENCE COMPARING THE CLASSIC RECORDS EDITION,ALSO THE JAPAN OLD PRESSING,I CAN CONFIRM IN FRONT OF YOU LISTENERS,THAT THESE LATE ZEPPELIN REMASTERS ARE FAR FROM BEEING PERFECT,HOWEVER,TOO GOOD NOT TO CONSIDER THEM THE BEST YOU CAN GET TODAY IN THE ANALOG WORLD

I just received Zep II and III and I'm very impressed by the sleeves and the records! Both records are cut flat on the sides which reminds me of what Quality Pressings is doing now with the Prestige reissues. If the sound is as good as the jackets I'll be extremely happy. I know they are cut from digital files but I have high hopes. Can't wait to give them a spin. I'm not sure how the jackets could be any better quality and to be honest I was never much of a fan of Zep II's album cover being a thick cardboard material.

what is is that the vinyl is wonderful, pallas does a great job on pressing the vinyl, what should never be is that the album jacket is a little on the cheap side in my opinion, the jacket is thin and the colors on led zep II do not match to the original.....me being a vinyl collector since a very young age think's that the record jackets should be as nice as the vinyl even if I have to pay a little more, that being said I am just happy that I don't have to pay hundreds of dollars for a zep album on the classics label even though they probably have nicer record jackets and are from an analogue source which I would prefer, now as for led zeppelins record jackets for I and III I think they are just fine but as I said the colors on zep II do not match and I would prefer the heavy stock covers over the thin ones, I guess I like my records high quality such as the ones by acoustic sounds while others could care less....that being said....I am satisfied with these releases.
