Ronnie James Dio's sinister howl and wicked songcraft bewitched hard rock fans in the 1970s and '80s during his memorable stints with Elf, Rainbow, and Black Sabbath. In 1983, the singer formed his own band, launching a successful solo career that culminated in 10 studio albums and sales of more than 10 million records worldwide.

Sacred Heart is the last LP to feature the original lineup of Ronnie James Dio, Jimmy Bain, Vivian Campbell & Vinny Appice. Dio's gold-certified third album was originally released in 1985. Featuring "Rock And Roll Children" & "Hungry For Heaven," this edition is pressed on limited-edition recycled yellow vinyl.
