While exploring the Dutch archives, The Lost Recordings unearthed five forgotten recordings of Emil Gilels, captured between 1975 and 1980 at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

Among them: a recital performed on April 15, 1980, entirely dedicated to Beethoven. A unique performance, filled with calm power, absolute clarity, and a musicality carved out of silence.
