HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!!! posted on 07/11/2026 5 Stars Reviewer: Taildrager This thing sounds amazing!!!!!From what I can tell this release has the same Sonic signature as the uhqr. From the descriptions of what I've read about the uhqr the mastering style has to be very similar. This SACD is very analog like extremely crankable with a wide dynamic range. It has a very warm tubey sound, I suppose a benefit of being mastered at the mastering lab. Best digital copy of this album! posted on 07/06/2026 5 Stars Reviewer: Bill It's really nice to see AP releasing SACD's at a reasonable prices. This particular master is excellent, in fact, the best digital release of Tres Hombres I've personally heard. And while your at it you may as well grab the Bluray Quadio of this release which is also available here at AS. The 4.0 Quad mix is spectacular. The Bluray Quadios are awesome and if you haven't heard 4.0 audio, now is the time to get set up. It is my favorite music format of any, better than 5.1 all the way to Atmos. And the high rez releases are very affordable for the quality received. , I say grab these before they go extinct. One can never know what will happen ...... thanks guys for giving us these great releases!
