The breakthrough album that defined Texas blues rock! One of the world's greatest rock 'n' roll bands ever to strut the 50 States, these sharp-dressed Texas titans — Billy F. Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill — are a righteously hell rain' power trio boasting a 30-plus year hit-making legacy, both in the studio and at concert arenas.

With their revved up blues 'n' boogie, they always make the most of their Texas birthright with with a distinctive sound that shakes up rock, blues, soul, garage-funk, Americana, and more. Nowhere is their force of nature musicianship better displayed than their 1973 classic Tres Hombres. Packed with swagger, grit, and some of the most infectious guitar grooves ever recorded, Tres Hombres cemented the band's signature sound — raw, greasy, and undeniably cool.

One of rock's greatest anthems — "La Grange" swaggers! That iconic opening boogie riff? Instantly recognizable. The groove? Absolutely irresistible. "La Grange" is a masterclass in blues-based rock perfection. And beyond? Whether it's the slow-burning "Hot, Blue and Righteous," the funky "Move Me on Down the Line," or the driving "Waitin' for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago" combo, every track grooves with unmistakable attitude.

ZZ Top fans will instantly recognize Tres Hombres as the album that shaped the band's legend. It's loud, it's bluesy, and it's packed with riffs that demand to be cranked up!

All 3 of these reviews, including mine, should be

deleted once the record is released. Nothing worse

than a review that is not reviewing the record but

somebody’s soapbox nonsense about Vinyl and 45 and

“you’re trying to make money” blah blah blah! Usually

it’s Johnny come lately who started buying records

during the pandemic. Surprise! Acoustic Sounds and

Analog Productions are businesses that are meant to

make money. Again, no one is forcing anyone to buy it

but that FOMO eats you alive! I own 6 copies of Dark

Side of the Moon and this will be my 4th copy of Tres

Hombres. It is the most ridiculous hobby in the world

yet the most rewarding and in 15 years as an AP

customer, Chad & his crew have NEVER failed to deliver

the goods. If you don’t wanna buy it, don’t. But in the

words of Zeppelin, “crying won’t help you, and praying

won’t do you no good!“

I don't see any predatory behavior here. They aren't preying on audiophiles; they are catering to them. This item is for those that love a certain piece of music so much, that they want to hear it in it's fullest form and are willing to pay for it. No one is being forced, including you.If it weren't for capitalism, most of this music would not exist, nor would we be able to obtain it. I have loved this particular music for many years and can not wait to dive into this UHQR! Move it on down the line!

Should have pressed it in 33 too.

This idea of cutting titles in a 45 format seems like a marketing strategy that preys on the audiophile and perpetuates the capitalism of re-issuing vinyl over and over again. When does this stop?
