Lorin Maazel conducts the Cleveland Orchestra in readings of Respighi's orchestral tone poems "Pini di Roma" and "Feste Romane," as well as a Suite from Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Golden Cockerel. The album was recorded May 10-14, 1976 and May 10, 1979 at the Masonic Auditorium in Cleveland.
