Both long-standing friendships and impromptu collaborations mark the debut album by the 4-piece Salina, Kansas-based Kings of Anything.
Their album Voyager is a journey of self-examination. Recorded in the group's hometown, the band chose a unique studo location — the Salina Masonic Temple and community center — which sits imposingly at the corner of South Street and Santa Fe Avenue. The lodge's ritualistic environment influenced the group's musical direction. Plus its vintage hand-painted stage backdrops and elaborate ritual costumes were utilized throughout production of the album.
