Mick Ronson originally achieved commercial success as David Bowie's guitarist in the backing band The Spiders of Mars during the Ziggy Stardust era. In 1975, Ronson released his second solo album Play Don't Worry. Comprising mostly covers ranging from The Velvet Underground to Little Richard, Ronson meticulously reimagines each cover in his own musical style. A true instrumentalist, Play Don't Worry is a supreme example of the musician's abilities at the height of his career.
