Turkish jazz drummer Ferit Odman's critically acclaimed second album is now on 180-gram opaque burgundy colored special vinyl. The artist has assembled a cast of dependable NYC veterans again for this second album. Trumpeter Terell Stafford and Vincent Herring on alto sax are backed by a great rhythm section consisting of Anthony Wonsey on piano, Peter Washington on bass and Ferit Odman on the drum-chair.

The leader keeps things surprising on this session with a selection of tunes by the likes of James Williams, Benny Golson, Cedar Walton and more. Listeners should expect a swinging hard-bop repertoire, plus two very beautiful ballads; "Autumn in New York" and "My Ideal." This new release was recorded in New York last autumn and it is a dedication to the late great pianist/composer James Williams.
