I've been a fan of Gary Moore since the Thin Lizzy days and had the CD version of "Still Got the Blues" since 1990. I just got the vinyl version as a Christmas present and now I know what I was missing! This release is excellent! First, the album is silent with no hiss or pop and lays perfectly flat on my turntable. Every track has clear separation with distinct layering of vocals, guitar, horns, keyboard and drums. The title track sounds "3D" and Gary Moore's vocals, and stellar guitar work are almost overwhelming! Sadly, he has been gone for many years, but his music still lives LARGE! Man, I love this record!! Thank you, Acoustic Sounds, for always offering the best in vinyl and making sure we get it safely!!
