Sally Night - Love For Sale

Recorded at Avatar Studio in New York on Oct. 30-31, 2011. British singer, songwriter and composer, Sally Night is a late bloomer, returning to her passion after enjoying a career in international relations, publishing and marketing. About seven years ago she decided to dedicate her time entirely to the career in music. Since then, she had recorded and released two albums through her own label before meeting Venus Records producer, Tetso Hara.

For this Venus album, originally released in 2012, co-produced by Hara and herself, Sally flew to New York and recorded a generous program of 17 songs (standards plus one original) with a first-rate international trio led by Italian pianist Massimo Farao with Tyler Mitchell on bass and Greg Hutchinson on drums. The selections showcase her sophisticated singing technique and her personal, sexy and unique swinging style in addition to her arranging skills. (All tracks are arranged by Sally.)
