Posted Saturday, August 8, 2026 by Scott N. The music, performance and overall sound quality is fantastic. But I had to return the first shipment due to tons of clicks during the quiet passages. My 2nd copy contains about 30 seconds worth of clicks at the end of the first side as well but not as annoying as the first (I can live with it). But "Optimal" should think about changing their name to "Sub-optimal".

Posted Friday, August 7, 2026 by Big Spuds Confirmed by multiple buyers and Mofi themselves that the channels are accidentally reversed on this new 2x45rpm cut. While Mofi have personally acknowledged it, they didnt give a concrete solution or timeframe for one, except to acknowledge they are looking into it. Hopefully, it will get resolved and when it does i hope to give this 5 stars just as the other Mofi 2x45rpm Doobie titles have easily earned!

This is the no holds barred the epitome of what vinyl can be. Dead silent, no clicks or pops, incredible dynamic range and frequency response, plus, superb virtuoso musical performances. Amazing! An utter bargain.

I have been disappointed with the higher surface noise as of late on the newer editions. Analogue Productions should look into this and correct it.

BUT, even though it was pressed at RTI, sides 3 and 4 contain lots of distracting clicks that really distract from listening pleasure in the quiet passages especially. Shame.

Dead quiet vinyl, outstanding stereo width and depth, and superior clarity. This classic release is a must for any Miles fan and the performances and audio quality here are unbeatable. HIGHLY recommend.

Posted Wednesday, July 8, 2026 by Wised Be warned, the first copy I ordered was very cupped, I damaged it flattening it so I ordered a second which was perfect. The sound quality of this pressing is extraordinary even by today's best digital standards. How they achieved such almost imperceptible tape hiss in 1862 without noise reduction borders the miraculous. The dynamic range, transients, fidelity and clarity are by all measures of digital quality. To boot the music is excellent and cool!
