Was ready to love it and I of course do love the recording and the performance itself, but am a bit disappointed in the quality of the vinyl as it just isn't up to the level of an Analogue Productions or QRP title. The Blue Note 75 series was a let down and these Tone Poets so far haven't won me over. Too much surface noise, too much evident clicking and popping especially maligning the quiet bits. My copy says "Made in Germany" btw.

Posted Monday, March 23, 2026 by Baltimore When I recently purchased this MoFI SACD of the Doobies' Minute by Minute, I had forgotten that I already had the Japanese SACD. I have a very good SACD player and thus, I was able to compare the two. I first played the new MoFi and then the Japanese version. In contrast to many other MoFi SACDs, this one didn't sound much better or even different than the Redbook version. The Japanese version, however, had everything that a listener would want in a SACD, that is, a tight bass, a wide sound stage, and stellar instrumental and voice separation. Some listeners may find the Japanese version a bit too precise but with the album's production, electronic as well as acoustic keyboards, background synths and acoustic orchestral parts along with its original mix, it's overall faithful to what Ted Templeman and the Doobies likely heard on their studio monitors.

As a huge fan of the blues, I'm proud to add it to my vinyl collection! Joe Bonamassa did a stellar job putting this together and producing it with Josh Smith. Wow, three, 180g vinyl discs of B.B.'s best! The packaging is top- shelf, and the enclosed booklet is full of fabulous pictures. Playback is crisp, clear with a quiet background. The vocals are sharp as is every guitar note! I saw B.B. King in the past and wish he was still here but I'm sure he's smiling down on this one!

No 2026 this is just a digital copy on vinyl that was a ghost repressed from 2016. Nothing new or different! The biggest letdown of the year so far! There’s not guts to the album at all. Just a cheap repress from digital files with a name slapped on it Celebrating 50 Years! So what! I’d get a better deal on Discogs find a NM vintage copy from 1975. At least it would’ve teen true analogue! Do not fool yourself! Do not by the mechanical haze of a mess!

The packaging features a high-quality cardboard sleeve, the discs bear laser-etched labels, and the sound is incredibly vivid and true-to-life. This is, without a doubt, the best disc set currently available on the market. I highly recommend that fellow music enthusiasts invest in a set to truly savor the richness of analog audio. You will not be disappointed by the substantial cost, as I believe this collection is built to last and will provide years of listening pleasure. Van Morrison's voice is natural and well defined. The instrumentation is nicely placed within the soundstage.

Art Pepper's tenor sax along with the rhythm section from Miles Davis's group deliver an absolutely wonderful listening experience. It is now among my very favorite jazz albums. The mastering to SACD is lush and without any harshness.

I haven’t got high end equipment by any stretch compared to some but boy oh boy doesn’t this shine. I didn’t realise my speakers could produce such natural depth and the bass wow the bass is incredible on this pressing. It’s got so much presence and sounds well - one word sublime worth 65 of anyone’s cash and I’ve had it sent to the Uk. This is a winner for sure!. Jump on this pressing you won’t regret it.

After hearing the quality of this album ( played both of the 40th titles one after the other ), and this one like the other is absolutely knocking it out of the park. Sound quality is exceptional, bass aplenty. Totally silent vinyl, I didn’t hear a single pop throughout!. only issue I had was the centre hole on LP1 was a little small and I had to get the reamer out. But once that was done and I sat back and played it all the way through a totally rewarding listen. Wonderful work on these albums can’t wait for the Genesis!!. The covers are beautiful , heavy and superb to look at too. I guess you could say I’m happy with them - to right!.

And Morrison's vocal is not bright any more.even at the loudest parts. It nicely slips into the orchestration. At least on my stereo system... Congrats Mr. Luthans! *****

Very disappointed with the pressing

Posted Sunday, March 8, 2026 by Anonymous I was really looking forward to this new pressing with 180 gram & 45 rpm. I actually have a copy of my dad's original mono LP from RCA Victor LM-1992.

As soon as I received the new copy I put it on the turntable & enjoyed tremendously the clean sounding reproduction, & of course Heifetz's beautiful playing. Unfortunately, the song faded out early on both First & Second movement before the ending of side 1 & side 3. I totally understands because of the 45 rpm each side can not store the same amount of data as compared to a 33-1/3 version, but to fading out without any warning is just not acceptable. Especially, with the amount that they are charging.

BTW, I have all 7 copies of the Steely Dan 200g, 45 rpm UHQR LP & none of them have the same problem.

Again, very disappointed with this purchase.

Every track is smoother, clearer, more dynamic and intimate, far from and much better than every other following release you might have ever heard. The vinyl Is superb, dead silent, first rate in every way. This is an incredible, as true to the original as you can get. As fine as vinyl gets. Well worth the investment.

Glad I Caught This One!

When it was back in stock, I took a second to look at the particulars and while "Live" versions don't necessarily grab my attention, I AM a fan of 180g and 45 rpm vinyl. So, I ordered a copy and just finished listening to all (4) sides of some great PINK FLOYD LIVE! I've been a Pink Floyd fan for over 50 years and enjoyed every second of this release. There was absolutely NO unwanted sound. I heard zero noise at any point. The quality was excellent with crisp separation at all levels. As to the concert itself, all seven tracks were just like being there! Awesome mix of "Money" that covered a side by itself! Side D with "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell" was a great finish. Finally, the jacket and included booklet were a nice touch. I'm pleased to have this in my collection and believe you will be too! Thanks, as always to Acoustic Sounds for being the "go to" place!

Posted Saturday, February 28, 2026 by Anthony Nguyen I was incredibly excited to experience for the first time with the exceptional and valuable album collection produced by AudioNautes Recordings. I had previously listened to this collection on vinyl records before, but this time, I heard it on reel-to-reel tape via my Otari MTR-15 and Studer A807 players machines. The sound was incredibly vibrant and fantastic. I felt like I was sitting in the big music performance stage at the pawnshop over 50 years ago, when the musicians played those famous songs in the pawnshop in 1976.

This is a very famous Jazz album that I've always loved, and it's a treasure displayed in my studio music room. The packaging, the images, and the product itself are exceptional and valuable. You haven't truly experienced analog sound until you've listened to this album collection. I recommend that Jazz lovers should buy this album collection before it sold out.
