Irish rock band Thin Lizzy released their debut studio album on April 30, 1971. The album was followed by the New
Day EP, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios and released in August of the same year. It was
the band's first album with the original lineup of Phil Lynott (bas, vocal), Eric Bell (guitar) and Brian Downey (drums).
This album was Thin Lizzy putting all they had into the music and taking risks. It's passionate, high-energy and
distinctive.

Celebrating its 55th anniversary, this super deluxe 4LP set features the remastered original album alongside 15 unreleased tracks including the previously unreleased studio track, "Beggar's Song." The tracklist also includes the rare New Day EP alongside other rarities and BBC sessions, with LP2, 3 & 4 all appearing on vinyl for the first time.
