"...that's the beauty of these smaller specialty reissue labels, they bring to light obscure gems often buried under more commercially successful releases. ... (this) is an intimate choral work with complex textures and through this new vinyl remastering by 2xHD, all these qualities shine through. Instrumental color is vivid and complex, while everything interacts naturally with the acoustic space around it. If you want to hear realistic vocal or instrumental texture, this recording will captivate you." — Music = 9/11; Sound = 10/11 — Michael Johnson, TrackingAngle.com. Read the entire review here.

Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of one of classical music's greatest masterpieces. An extraordinary journey of emotion and transcendence, now available on 2xHD vinyl.

Mozart’s boldest piece!

The solo voices are wonderfully recorded. The chorus is a bit forward, not allowing the proper blend or warmth. And where is the orchestra? Good question. I found that if you crank your subwoofers up to double volume you get some occasional warmth from a piece that is supposed to be Mozart’s boldest composition. I gave it five stars because Chad will not otherwise print it.
