Ghost World Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Original soundtrack to the acclaimed motion picture Ghost World. The movie is the raw-edged tale of two teenage girls who are out of sync with the world around them, starring Scarlett Johannson and Thora Burch, and is based on the comic book by underground comix artist Dan Clowes.

Record collecting is a major plot device in the film and the film's soundtrack presents a delightfully quirky selection of vintage blues, jazz and world music, as well as music recorded especially for the film. As a result, the soundtrack album, first released on CD, became a strong-selling cult item as well.
