Due out Feb. 2, 2024, King Perry is a posthumous album honoring visionary artist and producer Lee "Scratch" Perry, who died in August 2021 at age 85. Perry sculpted the sounds of Jamaican music with daring studio techniques.

From his early singles in the 1960s to his work with Bob Marley to his earth-shaking dub experiments, Perry's system-wisdom allowed him to move fluidly between writing lyrics or melodies, singing or playing percussion, recording or remixing, arranging or bandleading or scouting talent: It's all one love.

Conceived, written and recorded during the COVID pandemic, King Perry is produced by Daniel Boyle, and features guest performances from Greentea Peng, Shaun Ryder, Tricky, Marta, Rose Waite and Fifi Rong. Two tracks were also co- produced with Tricky, who releases Perry's last works on his False Idols label.
