First official American LP reissue!

Limited edition 140-gram vinyl

A great document of Howlin' Wolf toward the end, when he was still capable of bringing the heat and rocking the house down to the last brick. This was the only live album released during his lifetime. In the 1960s, Howlin' Wolf influenced numerous artists from the Rolling Stones and the Yardbirds to Cream, The Doors and Captain Beefheart. By 1972 he still commanded a huge live following.

With his crack backing band (including Sunnyland Slim on piano, as well as guitarists Hubert Sumlin and Willie Williams) in stunning form, Wolf charges through electrifying versions of "Mean Mistreater," "Call Me The Wolf" and "Sitting on Top of the World." His performance here is one of the most riveting ever captured on analog tape making this album an indispensable release for the serious blues aficionado.

Side A
When I Laid I Was Troubled
I Don't Know
Mean Mistreater
I Had A Dream

Side B
