Chvrches fourth studio album featuring collaboration with Robert Smith of The Cure
Chvrches has announced a new album called Screen Violence.
The fourth studio effort from the Scottish synth-pop trio includes the previously released single "He Said She Said," pluls a brand-new track called "How Not to Drown," featuring The Cure's Robert Smith.
"I think for me it was helpful to go into the process with the idea that I could write something escapist almost," says frontwoman Lauren Mayberry of Screen Violence. "That felt freeing initially, to have concepts and stories to weave your own feelings and experiences through but in the end, all the lyrics were definitely still personal."
Along with the album news, Chvrches has also announced the Screen Violence U.S. tour, set to kick off November 9, 2021 in Houston.
