Best cleaning fluid by far! posted on 11/22/2014 5 Stars Reviewer: Randy Delsack I never review anything I buy, but I'll make an exception for this product. I've been collecting and cleaning record albums for over 50 years, using a Nitty Gritty machine for the last 25 or so. I've tried most commercially available fluids, but the L'Art du Son is superior to all of them, period. Records with which I am intimately familiar have taken on a whole new life. Blank grooves have been silenced and I'm hearing nuances previously hidden. Brilliant product! By the way, I used 4ml per 4oz. brown glass bottle.

After using it on my records, both old and new, the highs are sharper and the bass is more detailed. I recommend mixing 12ml/pint in a glass jar. It is well worth the price.

But there is a reason it is shipped in a brown glass bottle--It apparently is an organic compound, or something that degrades over time when exposed to light (as occurs when you pour this concentrate into a gallon jug of distilled water). Some flakey solids form in liquid after a few weeks. Probably not a problem if you strain into your dispersing bottle, or keep the jug in a dark closet. Sonically, it is superb in my experience. But only when following the directions to rinse with distilled water after cleaning. If you can live with these quirks, you will love this product's perf. RiP

I'm not a total vinyl junkie but when vinyl calls I don't want to spend more time cleaning than listening. For me this is the best all purpose cleaner. I can count on my hands the times I've had to go to the "Doctor" since I bought some.
