Gruv-Glide - Gruv Glide Record Treatment

Gruv-Glide is a dry record treatment that actually enhances the sound of your records. In the past, even the highest quality cartridge could not truly access all the sonic nuances of a vinyl disc. Gruv-Glide changes all that by cleaning the groove and bringing out the best possible sound.

Each kit contains one 4.5 oz. aerosol treatment, two specialized applicator pads, directions and a static tester.

Buying it again posted on 05/09/2022 5 Stars Reviewer: Mark I play high fidelity in a very arid space. The treatment this provides eliminates charged flarn wonderfully. Time to re-order. It has really gone far considering it's used every time I play music. Glad I started with this product instead of jumping straight into a complicated relationship with a machine. Easy to use and allowed a new, pre- listening ritual to emerge. I had downsized a couple away, so I was ready. Happier during Ponderosa pollen season than I have ever been!

Move to the Gruv posted on 12/20/2009 5 Stars Reviewer: Darrick At the encouragement of a friend I decided to give Gruv Glide a shot. I tried it on a number of records in various condition and I must say that it did a nice job. Next I decided to do an experiment. First I cleaned all of my MoFi and Nautilus records on my VPI using L'art Du Son and then I applied Gruv Glide right after the cleaning. The difference in sound is amazing. The new Beck MoFi "Sea Change" is remarkable and Supertramp's "Crime of the Century" had detail I hadn't heard before.By the time I finished listening to Dark Side of the Moon I knew This was my new cleaning regiment. My only complaint is that you can't buy just another can of the product by itself.

I love this stuff! posted on 11/29/2009 5 Stars Reviewer: Miller I picked one of these up when I was getting more supplies for my VPI record cleaning machine. Never used it before, I had been having some static and such on LP's after cleaning that was bugging me, thought I would see what this would do. Man was I suprised, my LP's from the 70's that I bought new and are in great shape, just got better. and all the used LP's that I have picked up over the years that I have tried so far this has made a huge improvement, surface noise is all but gone if the record is in good shape. the static just vanishes as soon as you apply the gruv glide. When I put it on my 45RPM Blue Note collection LP's or my Riverside 45 RPM of Cannonball in S.F. with Nat Adderly, it sounds like I am in the club back in the day. At live performance volume there is no surface noise not a pop or a snick, just a complete sounndstage with Cannonball's Sax on the left an Nat's Horn on the right, the drums and piano filling the middle.with the drums inside of Nat Piano inside CB.

I also use the puff from the record cleaner to clean CDs that are not recognized on my NAD CD players. It works each time. I think that is because NAD CD players are quite sensitive to static charge.

would buy again posted on 07/20/2007 4 Stars this stuff works relatively well. definitely cleans and de-staticizes. it says that only one application is necessary, but i'd say you need to re-apply every 3rd or fourth play thru....but only a little spritz is needed

I originally thought it was mistracking, but after applying Gruv Glide, the records played perfectly. An absolute must if you live in a dry environment.

I play my vinyl records sometimes at very high volumes 800-1000 watts and on occasion I’ll get feed back through the turntable. So I asked a friend who is a DJ what he did to prevent feedback. He highly recommended Gruv-Glide. So I bought it. I first applied to an older album. I noticed less pops & clicks almost a 50% reduction and greater dynamics. So then applied it to one of my pristine ½ speed mastered LPs. Although my audiophile records have very little surface noise before, once the record was treated the surface noise all but disappeared. The music sounded as close to live as I have ever heard my turntable produce. The vocalization and instrumentation was MUCH clearer the overall sound was cleaner and very pleasing and I could not get the system to feedback at all. I can unequivocally recommend this product with out any reservation what so ever!
