It's been 50 years since Steve Miller Band's first two Capitol Records albums were released in 1968, and now Miller and Capitol/Universal Music Enterprises are incredibly excited to release the legendary Steve Miller Band's first nine studio albums on 180-gram vinyl.
Released in 1968, Children of The Future was the debut album by the Steve Miller Band consisting of Steve Miller, Boz Scaggs, Lonnie Turner, Jim Peterman and Tim Davis. Ben Sidran sat in as harpsichordist on "Baby's Calling Me Home."
The album reflected the ambience of the British blues revival featuring a mix of blues and psychedelic rock.
Newly mastered by Steve Miller and Kent Hertz.
