From the Netflix biopic "The Polka King," starring Jack Black, Lakeshore Records presents The Polka King-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The album includes a collection of classic polka songs re-imagined by The Jack Black Polka Band. In addition to Black, the group features members of the Jan Lewan Orchestra and other prominent polka players.

"The Polka King" was written and directed by Maya Forbes (Infinitely Polar Bear) and her husband Wallace Wolodarsky (The People vs. O.J. Simpson), and is based on the documentary "The Man Who Would Be Polka King." "The Polka King" revels in the misadventures and misdeeds of polka bandleader Jan Lewan (Black), and his small-time Western Pennsylvania-based Ponzi scheme to promote his polka band The movie also stars Jenny Slate, Vanessa Bayer, Jason Schwartzman, and J.B. Smoove.
