Lucinda Williams - World Without Tears

World Without Tears, the much-anticipated follow up to Lucinda’s critically acclaimed album Essence was produced by Mark Howard and Lucinda. The album was performed by Lu’s band and with the exception of the keyboards and one vocal, all 13 songs were recorded live off the floor. This double LP includes two songs not on the CD version.

Only 2,500 copies of each title will be pressed. They've already gone out of print once. Get 'em now before it happens again.

Good Music Bad Pressing posted on 03/28/2015 3 Stars I'm a big Lucinda Williams fan but at least 50% of the vinyl records from her Lost Highway Label are warped. The "World Without Tears" liner notes state that this is a "digital master" and it sounds like it. Music is a B- and sound quality and pressing is a C-.

Fantastic music---so-so pressing posted on 08/17/2007 5 Stars Reviewer: Sean Lucinda creates some beautiful music here and the recording is indeed excellent but the pressings of this and Lost are shockingly poor quality.
