Jack Nitzsche - One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Fantasy Records presents the Academy and Grammy Award-nominated score from the 1975 hit film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, housed in a deluxe vinyl box set. Fans will uncover the LP, pressed on 180-gram vinyl, in a reproduction of the original gatefold jacket. Accompanying the soundtrack is a poster which was included with the original 1975 LP, 2 collectable pin-back buttons and an illustrated booklet containing stills from the film plus insightful notes by director Miloš Forman. 

Starring Jack Nicholson, Cuckoo's Nest was only the second film in history to win all five major Academy Award categories (Best Picture, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Director and Screenplay) and its classical soundtrack composed and arranged by Jack Nitzsche - which also took home a Grammy for Original Music Score - is as equally compelling and is not to be missed. In addition to the standout opening and closing title track themes, the edgy 11-track affair is home to more striking singular works like "Medication Valse" and "Bus Ride To Paradise."
