Smooth ,musical and romantic sound. No extreme treble or bass. Might present tracking problems on some records (Grado dance) which results in pops clicks and skipping tracks with Rega RB300 arm.

Definitely quieter in the groove than the Grado Platinum! Also less prone to overload/sibilance than the lower model. Nice, attractive, and easy to use wood stylus guard. Threaded mounting holes from top, so you cannot use some bottom threaded headshells; but this is a modern trend common to many carts. Not the last word in treble or bass extension, but an excellent vocal range and it makes music...
