Posted Friday, August 15, 2014 by Mark Powers The description that Acoustic Sounds gives is great. My experience after receiving this disc was complete satisfaction starting with the packaging. I like the large 7" sleeve holder. I got home a little tired and set this multi channel SACD with external outputs, no use of a 5.1 processor, just listened to it the way it came off the disc. I closed my eyes, sat in the middle of the 5 speakers and 1 sub and was completely in heaven. This edition/remaster is as good as any of the best multi channel SACD's that are available. Absolutely a great recording.

Incredible New Re-release

So I was somewhat hesitant to order it now, yet I was intrigued at the thought of a hybrid version. The new SACD is so good that I was stunned when I first played it. Friends also listened to it yesterday and we all agreed that you can hear sounds that you didn't know were there. It's a perfect mix. There are no gimmicks and the band and their great music are the shining stars. If you've listened to this recording a thousand times or if it's new to you, I recommend it highly. You might also check out "Sailing To Philadelphia" on DVD-A and "Shangri-La" on SACD. Quality guitar and music.
