My Chemical Romance are continuing the 20th anniversary celebration of their third studio album, The Black Parade, with an expanded vinyl reissue.

Out October 23rd via Reprise Records, The Black Parade (20th Anniversary) features the original album plus a live performance of "Someone Out There Loves You," known to fans as "Stay" recorded at Maxwell's in Hoboken, N.J. on October 24, 2007. The original album has been sequenced over four sides of the double LP to maximize audio quality. Released in October 2006, The Black Parade follows The Patient through his reflections on life and his passage into the afterlife, built on the concept that death visits people in the form of their earliest cherished memory.

Pressed as a double LP on Neotech VR900-D2 180-gram vinyl, cut from the original analog master tapes. Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. One-Step process by Dorin Sauerbier at Record Technology, Inc. Limited edition of 7,000 worldwide numbered copies. Housed in a numbered slipcase with a premium heavyweight tip-on double gatefold jacket, new art insert, two printed inner sleeves and RTI rice-paper inners.

"Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record and the follow-up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," MCR shared in a statement. "At the time, we could never have imagined what the record would mean for the band. All we knew is that we had made something crazy, and something we couldn't wait to get it out into the world."

It continues, "For the first time, we have included everything we finished during those sessions in a single collection. As importantly, we asked James Jean to revisit the world of The Black Parade and create three new pieces of art. What he has crafted is a beautiful collection of a few iconic characters from the record during that era. James is truly a one-of-a-kind artist, and so important to how this record was presented to the world. We are extremely grateful for meeting him all those years ago, and agreeing now to make something new. Our hope is that you enjoy this collection of music and illustrations as much as we do, because we wanted to honor how timeless and enduring you've allowed it to be."
