BUT, even though it was pressed at RTI, sides 3 and 4 contain lots of distracting clicks that really distract from listening pleasure in the quiet passages especially. Shame.

Dead quiet vinyl, outstanding stereo width and depth, and superior clarity. This classic release is a must for any Miles fan and the performances and audio quality here are unbeatable. HIGHLY recommend.

Posted Wednesday, July 8, 2026 by Wised Be warned, the first copy I ordered was very cupped, I damaged it flattening it so I ordered a second which was perfect. The sound quality of this pressing is extraordinary even by today's best digital standards. How they achieved such almost imperceptible tape hiss in 1862 without noise reduction borders the miraculous. The dynamic range, transients, fidelity and clarity are by all measures of digital quality. To boot the music is excellent and cool!

This particular master is excellent, in fact, the best digital release of Tres Hombres I've personally heard. And while your at it you may as well grab the Bluray Quadio of this release which is also available here at AS. The 4.0 Quad mix is spectacular. The Bluray Quadios are awesome and if you haven't heard 4.0 audio, now is the time to get set up. It is my favorite music format of any, better than 5.1 all the way to Atmos. And the high rez releases are very affordable for the quality received. , I say grab these before they go extinct. One can never know what will happen ...... thanks guys for giving us these great releases!

Posted Monday, July 6, 2026 by :DavidL Dreamboat Annie easily has a place on my Top 10 all-time favorite album list. A solid listen from start to finish! I was apprehensive about this release as I wasn't sure what Capitol and MoFi were going to give us. MoFi has been hit-and-miss on their SACD releases lately. Thankfully, this one is a hit! The bottom end is fuller on this release without bloating the mids and upper range. Detail and soundstage are also improved. The only reason I give this release a "4" is because they put that awesome acoustic guitar intro to "Crazy On You" at the end of Track 2 instead of opening Track 3 where it belongs, ugh!
