I've got the 33 1/3 reissue which is quite good, but this really kicks. Plus they did the mastering correctly this time; there's no gap between Don't Ask Me No Questions and Workin for MCA, like it's supposed to be.

Have bought a bunch of impressive QRP albums and this one is near the top. Pressing is good and dynamics are great. One thing is that 45 RPM which naturally encourages deeper bass really works with and complements the Skynrd sound. So I think the 45 is a really nice match with this record (and Skynrd in general). Got this for $35 which is a steal. Grab them while they are this cheap!

Analogue Production's 45 RPM double disc release of Surfer Girl is just spectacular. I hesitated to purchase this one, thinking it couldn't sound any better than the mono or stereo remasters, but I'm so glad I did. I thought I knew every beat of this record, but this pressing charms me again each time I listen. Thanks AP! (Yes, it's flawless - quiet, clean, etc)

This recording sounds amazing. The vinyl is incredibly quiet. And the sound is really good. I will be buying more Analogue Productions releases after purchasing this one.

The best version I have ever heard hands down and it's not even close. Going to trade in my from the vault mono to the the local record shop and buy the AP mono version at 45rpm. This is till date the definitive version for me. Thank you AP!

Nat's voice is there in the room. The dynamics and tone of this album are amazing. Give it a try. Hoffman and Gray really nailed it again. The music swings with Handy's great writing.

This 45 rpm reproduction of DIM is just marvelous. The detail is just so clear and I have heard so many versions. There was always this hiss on all the versions I have heard. It arrived a little scratched but it's a record you know. I was more interested in the sound and detail because I own every version of this recording be it old new cd etc etc. The 45 RPM helps I think every aspect of the sound, than a 33 1/3. So honestly this is as good as it gets. I wish my system was more audiophile but what can you do. DIM FOREVER
