Remastered edition of the original holiday album by Brian Wilson and the boys. With this release, the album is returned to its original form with no additional bonus tracks, but what a treat it is. While many instantly think of Bing, Frank, Nat and Elvis when they talk about Christmas music, no holiday is complete without harmony-laden Pop/Rock tunes like 'Little Saint Nick', 'Santa's Beard' and 'Man With All The Toys'. This album gets better with time, just like dear ol' Santa himself!

Terrible Vinyl Buy the Download Instead

Just awful. Highs and mids are thin and edgy (through a Koetsu). Bass pretty much isn't there. You can't play this loud enough to give the voices and instruments body unless you fry your ears. I then bought the 192/24 download and it was so much better in every way: richer throughout, no edginess, better depth and detail. So how did Capitol master the vinyl? Didn't they use their own hi-res file? Just a poor job. Wish Analogue Productions had reissued this one, too.
