Without doubt, the Eagles are one of the all-time biggest acts in popular music since the dawn of the rock 'n' roll era. The band's roots go back to their role as defining artists in the phenomenally popular Southern California rock scene of the '70s, a decade in which they delivered four consecutive No. 1 albums. Their momentous 2004 farewell tour filled stadiums around the world, and this double-DVD set captures one of the most stellar events from that now-historic global sweep.

I watched the Blueray disc on a Marantz 5004 AV receiver and matching BD player thru 2 PSB Image T6's. The video quality is good to very good but I am not a fan of the extreme film editing that is prevalent in today's film making. It causes way to much "flipping" from artist to artist. The camera editing made it difficult to appreciate any of these marvelous musicians'leads. The audio is very good but as for the content quality, the guitars were too blended. I am a big Don Felder fan so I would have much preferred having Don Felder's guitar over the session player that was used as the primary lead guitar.(although he was good) Joe Walsh took a back seat throughout the concert. I did not think his guitar prowess was showcased except in his own songs. As much as I like The James Gang, I do not think those songs were what the audience came to see. Overall a good music DVD. I will listen to it again.
