Nagra 75th Year Anniversary Collection Tape

Numbered Limited Edition master quality metal reel (2 reels)

Duplication AAA from the analog master!

Recorded at 15 ips in CCIR!

One of the world's audiophile innovators collaborated with 2xHD for this musical selection to celebrate this important milestone. The double tape feature tracks from Bill Evans, Louis Armstrong, Monty Alexander and Buddy Tate along with some amazing audiophile tracks recorded on the legendary Nagra IV-S tape machine.

The package includes two audiophile SM900 tapes recorded at 15 ips in CCIR, on two balanced metal reels silver and red with the NAGRA logo manufactured in Germany by Feinwerktechnik allgäu GmbH and an elegant booklet with NAGRA products history.

For serious analog enthusiasts, open-reel tape remains one of the most extraordinary ways to experience recorded music.

High-speed 15 ips tape offers outstanding dynamic capability, excellent transient response and a wonderfully direct connection with the original recording. With minimal processing between the recording and playback chain, a properly produced reel-to-reel edition can reveal musical textures, ambience and subtle information that may be far less obvious on other formats.

This is why open-reel tape continues to occupy such a special position among audiophiles.

After decades in which magnetic tape technology was largely displaced by digital formats, reel-to-reel is once again being appreciated by collectors, mastering engineers and serious music lovers around the world.

For many enthusiasts, it remains the analog sound source par excellence.
