Paco de Lucia — Fuente Y Caudal

Spanish guitarist's 1973 solo album on special gatefold edition 180-gram LP!

Released by Philips in 1973, Fuente y caudal (Source and Flow) was Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucía's sixth solo LP and marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career. On this album, he reached a level of technical mastery unparalleled in the history of flamenco guitar. Only 25 years old at the time of recording, Paco de Lucía saw his fame expand far beyond Spain after the release of Fuente y caudal.

Arguably his most celebrated album, it features the iconic rumba "Entre dos aguas," a piece that played a key role in introducing flamenco to a much wider international audience and which, remarkably, was improvised spontaneously in the studio at the end of the session.
