Motörhead are marking their 50th anniversary in 2025 by releasing a batch of limited-edition vinyl reissues of some of their most celebrated albums. On February 28, the band will release special half-speed mastered colored vinyl repressings of their classic albums, Overkill, Bomber, and Ace of Spades.

The heavy metal legends will spend 2025 continuing to celebrate their 50-year legacy as well paying tribute to their late frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, who died in 2015. Motörhead is for life and Lemmy is Forever.

"It's incredible to know that our music, and all it stands for, continues to resonate with so many people," said guitarist Phil Campbell in a press release. "The music remains as vital and important as ever because there's a unique energy and honesty to it that we will all always need."

When Motörhead released a classic of the magnitude of Overkill in March 1979, they would have been forgiven for taking a breather soon after, but then not all rock bands had their DNA. Somehow in all the madness, they managed to produce the legendary Bomber the very same year. Reaching No. 12 on the U.K. charts, the record brought some of Motorhead's most popular songs, such as "Dead Men Tell No Tales," "Stone Dead Forever," and the title track. Honoring the 50th year of one of the greatest and most influential hard rock bands of all time, this classic album has been remastered at half-speed from the original tapes and is available on dark blue/black splatter color vinyl with poster included. Limited edition.
