The Monster Squad, a cult classic from the '80s, has been celebrated for it's perfect blend of horror, adventure, and comedy. The film follows a group of kids who discover that their town is under siege by legendary monsters, including Dracula, The Mummy, and Frankenstein's Monster.

The album features the film's original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Young Sherlock Holmes, Rescuers Down Under, Homeward Bound, Tombstone).
