To the Faithful Departed is the third studio album by Irish alternative band The Cranberries, released in April 1996. The album was made in memory of Denny Cordell, who signed the band to Island Records, and Joe O'Riordan (vocalist Dolores O'Riordan's grandfather), who had both died that year. The album reached No. 1 in six countries and became the band's highest-charting album on the U.S. Billboard 200 and topped Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks alternative chart with "Salvation," just as "Zombie" had a couple of years earlier.

In this deluxe reissue, the original album has been remastered by John Dent at Metropolis. The 2LP configuration includes three previously unreleased album demos recorded with Tim Palmer in Paris. The sleeve notes by Eoin Devereux includes contributions from the remaining band members as well as archived material which includes interviews with Dolores.
